Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Onar (the "App"), a private dream journal published by Metin Demirel ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App.
2. What Onar Is For
Onar is a tool for recording and reflecting on your dreams. The symbol dictionary and any "meanings" it offers are intended for personal reflection and journaling only. They are not predictions and are not statements of fact.
3. Not Professional Advice
Onar does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you have concerns about your health or wellbeing, please consult a licensed professional.
4. Your Content
You own everything you create in the App — your dream entries, recordings, sketches, and notes. This content is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud. We do not access it. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; we are not liable for any loss of content.
5. Subscriptions & Purchases
- Onar offers optional monthly and annual subscriptions, and an optional one-time lifetime purchase. All of them unlock the same premium features.
- New subscribers are eligible for a one-month free trial on the annual subscription. The introductory offer can be used once per subscription group: if you first subscribe monthly, the free month is no longer available on the annual plan.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account through the App Store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
- If you start the free trial and do not cancel before it ends, the subscription will begin and the applicable fee will be charged.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your App Store account settings after purchase.
- Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.
- The lifetime purchase grants access to the premium features for the lifetime of the App, and is a single, non-recurring payment.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal purposes and not to misuse it or attempt to disrupt its operation.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its name, design, icon, and original content (such as the symbol dictionary text), is owned by the developer and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of the App to you.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
10. Changes to the App and These Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
