Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the AFL Turnuva app ("the app") developed by Metin Demirel. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. License
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with its intended operation.
3. Your Data and Backups
You are responsible for the tournament data you enter into the app. Tournaments are stored only on your device and are not backed up to any server by the app. If your device is lost, replaced, or reset, that data cannot be recovered by us. We strongly recommend exporting your entry lists, pairing sheets, and standings as PDF during an event and keeping your own records.
4. Pairing and Arbiter Responsibility
The pairing engine implements the Swiss system at club strength. It is not a full implementation of the FIDE Dutch system (C.04.3), and the app is not intended for producing pairings for FIDE-rated events. The arbiter remains responsible for the conduct of the tournament, including checking pairings, results, and final standings.
5. Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It is a tool to help you run and record a tournament and does not constitute an official pairing or rating authority.
6. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any loss of data or any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
7. Updates and Availability
We may update, change, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye.
