Summary: Hey Fennec ("the App") is developed by Metin Demirel ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. The short version: we do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data.
1. Our core principle
We do not collect any personal information.
All of your data stays on your device and, if you turn on iCloud, in your own private iCloud account that only you control. We, the developer, have **no access to it** and operate no servers that receive your data.
2. What the App stores (on your device only)
To make the game work and show your progress, the App stores the following locally on your device** using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData):
- Gameplay results such as reaction times, accuracy, and session history
- Your settings and preferences (theme, sound, accessibility options, reminders)
- Achievements and personal bests
- Your selected background pack
If you enable iCloud on your device, this same information may sync to your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit), which is tied to your Apple ID and accessible only by you. We cannot read, access, or retrieve it.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do **not** collect, upload, or store your personal data on any server we run.
- We use **no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or marketing SDKs.
- We do **not** build user profiles, and we do **not** sell or share data with anyone.
- The App does **not** require an account, login, name, email, or phone number.
The only diagnostics that may be produced are Apple's own aggregated, anonymized performance and crash reports, and only if you have opted in to share them with developers in iOS Settings. This data is provided by Apple in a form that does not identify you, and we cannot connect it to any individual.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Hey Fennec Premium is an optional subscription processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy.
5. Children
The App is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because it collects no data, requires no account, and contains no ads or external links inside gameplay, it does not knowingly gather any information from children or anyone else.
6. Your control over your data
Because everything lives on your device and in your private iCloud:
To exercise control over your data:
- You can **export** your data as a file at any time in Settings.
- You can **reset/delete** your data in Settings.
- Deleting the App removes its on-device data. iCloud data can be removed through iOS (Settings ▸ your name ▸ iCloud), fully under your control.
7. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)
Since we hold no personal data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or transfer. You already hold and control all of it on your own device and iCloud.
